I just found a life saver or should I say a battery saver at www.earthtechproducts.com. This thing is great it’s a solar battery maintainer for boats or cars. You simply mount the 5” x 15.5” solar panel with the included suction cups and connect the supplied battery cable to the battery terminals and your all set for the long winter or for in between usage of your boat or car. The panels come in different sizes for the purposes of battery maintainance or actual battery charging. Don’t forget to get a charge controller to keep the battery topped off and not overcharged. Earthtech Products also has portable flexible solar panels for charging your electronic devices such as your fish finder, cell phone, laptop, etc where ever you are. I would recommend you check these useful products out especially if you’re like me one who doesn’t like the embarrassment of the boat not starting when you invited a bunch of excited folks to go out on the boat!
Enjoy!

How will we convince the mainstream? Step by step perhaps…
In a world in need of change, there are only those who have stood by conserving energy since the day the world has shown it’s tiring symtoms.. my partner and I had a thought one day.. A day dream…. to try to find consumer products that are interesting to the mainstream, to get the guy or gal who is less interested in conserving energy to be more concerned with the environment. Then came Earthtechproducts.com….a long laborous process but its now born. And now Step two has begun, a small step yet such a leap…. We were approched by Ecotalk.net to discuss a new product that we have, the Soldius1 iPod Charger with iPod tip & mobile phone solar battery charger kit and they were very attracted to it’s coolness.. and I was was very happy to have the chance to start spreading our vision… Take a listen to the radio interview with Ecotalk you’ll see what I mean….
Does anyone feel that there are any other products at earthtechproducts.com that can impact this movement? Any new ideas? We’d love your input…

How to improve the quality of life of one allergic person:
Allergies and its inconvenient symptoms are responsible for the reduction the quality of life and even loss of productivity at school and work.The main way to avoid allergies is to prevent allergens to be inhaled by people. For that to occur, two measures need to be taken: to treat the air (contamination means) and to fight contamination sources.
These are some important tips:
- When washing bed sheets try to do it using hot water (131F) every 7 days, in order to eliminate the dust mites;
- If possible, use anti-dust mite covers on attresses and pillows and avoid feather pillows and comforters;
- In there is presence of mildew, use a 1 part of chlorine for each 4 parts of water solution for cleaning. Do not mix chlorine based products with ammonia based products. The mixture liberates toxic gases;
- Clean up all mildew stains that you find. If the material is too porous and cannot be totally cleaned, throw it away;
- Wait until the surfaces are completely dry before
placing objects over it;
- Use exhaust fans in kitchens and bathrooms. This measure will decrease humidity levels and reduces the installation of germs;
- Ventilate closed spaces like attics. In fact, the relative humidity of any environment should always be kept below 50%, because over that fungus, bacteria and dust mites will proliferate quicker.
- Clean up the air conditioning system and dehumidifiers on a regular basis, because those devices accumulate humidity and dirt inside, helping fungus and bacteria growth.
- When water damages occur like during floods, the contaminated materials should be cleaned and dried within 24 hours;
- Remove any allergic person from the room whenever vacuum cleaning or changing bed sheets, because the quantity of dust mites, fungus and bacteria in the air increase during the cleaning process;
- Allergic people should avoid carpets because the
vacuum cleaners cannot remove all dust mites and fungus out of its woof;

12. Use Airfree air purifier to maintain a good air quality level in the environment. Airfree quietly, constantly, and efficiently purifies the air which is the transmitting mean between the contamination sources and the allergic person. To learn more about Airfree click here
